Vilnis Mičulis and architects
New team of architects under the command of two talented – Fricis Vilnis and Kārlis Mičulis. Captains who want their name to be written across the waters of the European architecture. Having previously worked in Dutch and German offices, they have now returned to their roots and opened their own studio in Riga. The driving force behind the new studio is contrasts and diversity of people, which we wanted to highlight in the graphical language as well. A clash of contrasts that creates new and powerful shapes of ideas.
Is architecture creative? Is an architect an artist or an engineer? Does architecture serve the environment or society? Vilnis Mičulis and Architects answer these questions through their work – always direct, convincing and well considered. Inspired by Bauhaus, today they create their own architectural philosophy where every shape, angle and line are calculated to the smallest detail.This is exactly what the new graphical identity is.
